WW1 Battlefield Trek - Just 2 places left...

If you’ve been moved by the coverage the WW1 centenary and centenary events; why not consider signing up for The Royal Star and Garter Homes’ Battlefield Trek.

We have just two places left, on what promises to be an incredibly poignant event. The three-day sponsored trek takes place in September 2014, walking through Northern France and Belgium. It is a physical challenge and also provides participants with a unique perspective of prominent battle-sites of the Ypres Salient, often tracing the line of the Western Front itself.

The Royal Star & Garter Homes charity was founded in 1916, to provide care for the brave men returning from the WW1 battlefields. Although the care needs of residents have changed over the years, the Charity’s mission remains to provide brilliant nursing and therapeutic care for the whole military family, in comfortable, state-of-the-art homes.

The Trek participants will be supporting The Royal Star & Garter Homes in its mission to continue caring for those who bravely served, in their own time of need.
