Conversations in a Time of War
It is July 2015. England has been at war for almost a year and patriotism is at it's height. Men are off fighting for King and Country leaving women and children to keep life going on the home front - even the recently established Girl Guides are doing their bit! Among the younger generation, those signing up to fight are getting younger and younger - and nobody seems to mind if they lie about their age! When Anna's fourteen year old boyfriend becomes a volunteer soldier, having given a false date of birth, Anna's enthusiasm for the war effort begins to fade.
