Are you a phenomenon with puff pastry? Is your treacle tart the talk of Tolworth?

To celebrate the 2nd Surbiton Food Festival we are launching Pies in their Eyes: The Great Surbiton Pie Challenge.

Open to keen cooks, both amateur and professional, your mission is to bake a pie, flan or tart with either a sweet or savoury filling.

You could go for a timeless classic, like lemon meringue or steak and kidney, or create something a little more avant-garde. Rabbit and chocolate anyone? Or pork and peanut butter?
