Beauty Salon

Hello Everyone,

There is a possibility that I will be opening up a Beauty Salon in Surbiton- I have been in the industry for 6 years as a manager and a beauty therapist.

I have done my research and have noticed that most salons are offering pretty much the same treatments and products. Could I have your opinions on what you would want from your locals Beauty Salons?
Do you want something different?

We want to make it very comfortable for both men and women to enjoy treatments with us.
All feedback would be massively appreciated !!
Thank you

I can't speak for myself but my better half usually goes all over the place to get her feet, nails and eyebrows threaded.
I know there are plenty which are local but would be good to get all those done in once place...and properly.
Time and costs seems to be a big issues. Surbiton businesses seems to think that they can charge what they want because of the location but in reality those little shops who charge peanuts do a much better job and offer better value for money. Opening and closing times need to be considered too, although I'm sure people do good trade during working hours I think the money is to be had when the commuters come home later. She usually goes to shops closer to her work rather than Surbiton as they are open a little later.
Take my comments with a pinch of salt as I'm sure you have a lot to go on and wish you luck. I hope you can bring something to Surbiton that will be useful to all and something a little different.

Oh and maybe some hair removal treatments and facials for us guys wouldn't go a miss every now and then :)
