Well thanks for the info Used to catch the guys a lot during my degree at Kingston 88-92 and even kept in touch with xmas cards when I moved back "up that North" !
I was trying to see if you were still about as were looking for a band for our wedding.

Actually, as an ex member of Close Enough I think I can answer Lee's question.
We dis-banded a few years ago, mostly due to other commitments - I seem to remember we had a sudden spurt of new fathers in the band amongst other things. Plus, I think we felt we'd peaked when we did the Antigua and TV gigs. Personally the pubs and clubs began to feel
a bit mundane after that. There wasn't any sort of bust up, it just sort of frittered away.
If you haven't seen it already, there's a website here www.surbiton.com/enough/ - but obviously it hasn't been updated for a long while.
Yes the Gaurdian, Informer and Surrey Comet are still inprint. Perhaps a
magazine like NME might have info on Close Enough
