I would agree, estate agents have a bad reputation overall however I can not stress strongly enough that I would not recommend anyone uses Matthew James. You are given a false sense of security upon initially meeting them (Matthew or James), you think they are going to offer the service you would hope for, that your best interests are always being looked after, that they value your custom and money. So, so wrong! They don't care about you, you may be the customer and paying for their service but that doesn't matter, they will shout at you (honestly they do, they don't understand the meaning of respect), they will not look after your interests, they will go behind your back and much more. It is all about getting whatever they can at any cost. Yes, I understand a business is there to make money but at the cost of human decency, really, please use someone else!

Matthew James are just awful and shockingly lazy on behalf of their tenants and landlords. They have never heard of customer service and they really do shout at you! Avoid renting a property with them and landlords be aware, it's not only their tenants they treat badly. They have brought me to tears on more than one occassion and I can not wait to be free of their clutches.

Estate Agents in this area are pretty much peas from the same pod but I'd recommend not using Matthew James. They dress themselves up as a one branch local agent but are no different to anyone else. Your Move are generally quite good (as tenants).

I agree about Matthew James. Did not like them at all and won't be going through them again!!! Very pompous. Used Chancellors. No complaints with them. Very approachable.
