Just been into the new bicycle shop that's opened at the Thames Ditton Marina on Portsmouth Road, and it's great! Very snazzy looking, loads of road and mountain bikes and equipment and clothing. The guys in there are really friendly and I had a good laugh with them. Apparently the owner used to work for Specialized UK, which I suppose is why he sounded like he knew what he was talking about!
I usually go to Kingston for my bike stuff but this may well become my new (and closer!) port of call. They do bike rentals as well, which should go down well if the sun comes out again!
Would recommend it, it's a good place to go. Think he said they're shut on Mondays but open the rest of the week.

Decided to check this place out as I spotted it when going to the gym opposite. The guy was really friendly and helpful so would definitely use again. Would recommend.
