Does anyone know what the covered stalls and yellow-jacketed people were doing at the corner of the station opposite Wetherspoons? I had a lift home and had to hurry to the car, it looked like a Fete, but surely not in the dark late afternoon on a Thursday ? Was it a Protest?

Outside Surbiton Station this afternoon - a Protest?
Nah, it was a nativity thing of some sort. The girls choir was singing "hark hear the angels oh lord are a singing" (or summit like that) when I was cycling past.
The Yellow-flourescent jacket is a common garment worn by almost any all non-civvies after dark - so they could've been almost anyone. The shepherds, maybe?
It was the Christmas tree switch on.
