I am very happy to have the opportunity to recommend Alpesh Ruparelia at Boots Opticians on the High Street. He really is excellent and spotted what could have become a been a very serious problem with my eyes that was overlooked by other opticians. Mr Ruparelia was also able to work out the prescription for my son back when he was too young to even know the alphabet for a standard eye test.
i am very happy to recommend Alpesh at Boots. He looked after my late mother'eyes and was extremely helpful and professional.
By far the best is "Hollands" in Surbo High St. First class personal treatment. You're not a number, and they actually *care* about your eyes!

Cannot recommend highly enough
Went to Hollands to have a free eye test last year. Optician said I didn't need glasses yet I later felt pressured to buy a pair anyway. I understand that if you have a free eye test and needed glasses it would be polite to at least consider buying them there but I didn't need them! They were polite but very pushy.
