Hello,
Has anyone yet tried the (new) Saigon Chef since it has re-invented itself from a Vietnamese retaurant?
I used to love some of their spicey (Vietnamese consume more chillies than any other country in the world) dishes. The nourishing and very hot Sunday afternoon noodle soup was just the ticket for recovering from the night before.
Since re-opening it is now advertising itself as an "Authentic Chinese & Indian Cuisine".
Does it compare favourably with the "old" Saigon cheff? Anyone?

It's Sri Lankan food really as the owner is from there. His missus does all the cooking and whilst the service and command of English is questionable - the food is really authentic and pretty good. My Sri Lankan mate even approves.
