Scientology comes to Surby

If you live in central Surbiton you might have received a booklet entitled 'The Truth About Drugs' hidden between the leaflets for pizza takaways and dodgy decorators. It all seems very commendable until you see that it has been produced by a Californian outfit called the Foundation for a Drug-Free World. Just know that they are financed by the Church of Scientology.

Yeah had one of those in my postbox in Ewell Road. Had a little look through before it went in the recycling bin.

I'll keep an eye out for it. I like a good laugh.

Hmm... that makes sense now. A lot of the 'information' in there is scientifically incorrect and even downright dangerous!

Apparently the posh Claremont School in Esher is owned by them! Religion/Cult money extraction should be made illegal. Sadly politicians still see it as an easy way to get votes. Hopefully the German court decision to outlaw circumcision is a start in making the world realise that if you cannot 'brand' /brainwash the young, nobody will bother with the tripe. As John Lennon wrote 'Imagine'

Claremont school is run by Christian scientists, not scientologists. 5 minutes research on the web before you post would help prevent you sounding like a poorly informed idiot.
