Somewhat hopeful request for witnesses to car accident on Maple Road

Hi folks

I suspect this will come to nothing but it's worth a go. At some point yesterday (12th October) my parked car (Mazda MX5) has been hit by another vehicle outside the Black Lion on Maple Road.

A "note" was left on the windscreen but was totally blank which I suspect was intended to throw off any other witnesses into believing that contact details had been left.

A friend suspects it may have been a White Tow truck that was collecting a broken down car at around 7 or half 7 last night as the angles looked very tight to her but she didn't remember the name of the tow company.

As I say it's probably unlikely but if you did hear or see anything I'd appreciate it

Phil

Have you asked in the pub itself?

I have not heard of the sneaky approach of leaving a blank note like that before - that is worse than not leaving a note at all in my opinion.

Good luck with getting it sorted out.

Good grief really, are you new to England?
