Surbiton Mugging

Thursday morning approx 4.15am. On my way to work. Just crossing Cranes Park into Villiers Avenue when I saw three black teenagers separating. I saw one had a small claw hammer in his hand, whilst the other two circled behind me. I was relieved of £10 from my wallet. They wanted my mobile phone, but as I don't own one they were dissapointed. They even handed me back my Sony Walkman, so I must have very poor taste even for muggers.

The whole incident lasted around 2 minutes. The threat of violence was always there but never used directly. I am 6'1"" and 220 pounds, so not a small target. Take warning people there are those out there who will hurt you. I was lucky. You may not be....

Oh yes. How am I after this? The next day I made certain I walked the same way and the same time. Why? You have to carry on as normal. "Don't let the [filtered word]s win!"

Things are getting worse daily !
