It's a bit far away, but the Excel centre in elmbridge is a Brill pool and leisure complex.
If you sign up online, the kids under 16 and oldies over 60 go free!!!!

The one in New Malden wasn't bad last time I went. I used to cycle through Berrylands and was there in 15 mins. A nice warm up before you get swimming. Better laned swiming that Kingston IMO.

Thanks everyone. We've got a few to try then? Kingston looks favourite. Cheers all.

The area is very badly served for pools. Cannons is the only pool in Surbiton itself (well, apart from ones in people's back gardens!), and the Kingfisher is not as pleasurable an experience as it could be.

There is an open air pool in Hampton which is nice in the summer, but useless for the rest of the year.

I saw a report on the London news not that long ago that said Kingston residents were amongst the poorest served for swimming pools in the whole of London.

At the Kingsmeadow Leisure Centre in Kingston. It has lanes but is more of a family pool.

Cannons Gym in Surbiton (down on the Portsmouth Rd) has a reasonable sized pool but you'd have to be prepared to pay the rip off membership rates for Cannons to use.
