Visiting Surbiton

I know we are a small group but no one has sent a message for over three months!

I shall be visiting the old home town on Saturday and hope to meet a friend for a drink and chat in the Surbiton Club in St James's Road.
Did you know the Cottage Hospital in the same road has been redeveloped into apartments and houses. They had to build them to look like the Victorian houses opposite.

Enjoy your trip - I was in Surbiton, Kingston, New Malden, Ham and Tolworth last weekend, it's nice to pop back and see things - how Kingston has changed since I moved to Kent three years ago, especially with the new cinema complex on the old bus station site.

By the way, I think I have mentioned it before, go to www.thamesradio.com, and listen to Thames 107.8, the local radio station for the area.

It will soon be changing it's name to Radio Jackie !.
