‘Gentle and kind’ Mr McKinlay was a member of the Surbiton Club and worked as a bar steward there, bringing many years of experience with him. Friend Bob Tyler paid tribute to Mr McKinlay, who had been missing from his home for two days last week.

Mr McKinlay, 61, from Surbiton, was last seen at his home at 9.45am on Wednesday, September 24. Police were called to reports of a man collapsed in Victoria Park in Balaclava Road, Surbiton, at 10.45am on Friday.
