£1,000 give away

Surbiton street competition to celebrate the launch of the new look Surbiton.com

To celebrate the launch of the new Surbiton.com site, we've teamed up with a leading UK promotions company Interg8 Solutions to create a new type of interactive competition. The specially commissioned ActiveRoleplay™ game uses state of the art communications to allow on-the-scene adjudicators to monitor the game progress throughout the day.

Discover the Mystery Object and Win £1,000

Competition area

The competition area consists of the length of Victoria Road starting at the roundabout opposite Surbiton station down to the junction with Brighton Road. The mystery object will be placed in plain view on the ground at street level and is small enough to be lifted with one hand.

Mystery object

Adjudicators will be posted around the competition area posing as passers-by. When you think you've discovered the mystery object, to take part in the prize draw simply lift the object above your head and shout the phrase, "I think I've found a mystery object". An adjudicator will make themselves known to you and take your contact details to enter you in the competition.

Terms & Conditions

Entries must be made no later than 1 April 2009. The prize is £1,000 or the equivalent in cash. Entrants must be over 18 years or under. Only one entry per person is permitted. The prize will be rewarded to the entrant who has correctly identified the Mystery Object and has their entry picked first. Employees or agents of Surbiton.com, its group 3 Radcials, Intergr8 Solutions or their immediate relatives, are not allowed to enter. The adjudicator's decision is final. The prize is not transferable and cannot be substituted for an alternative. By entering this competition you give Surbiton.com permission for you to be made fun of. Only the terms after and including this sentence are valid. All entries are null an void. No prize will be given. There are no prizes. It's just a stupid joke. This is just some padding to make the terms seem long and complicated. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize promotion at anytime without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within the rules on the site.
