Guildford Crown Court said 16 others pleaded not guilty during multiple hearings in the week before Christmas.
The complex case, involving 23 defendants, relates to a fight in the Watersedge area of Ewell at about 7.30pm on November 11, 2013. At the time police said a 15-year-old boy was stabbed during an "altercation" and taken to hospital with severe chest injuries - although no one has been charged with this offence. An 18-year-old, who was remanded in custody, Luke Thatcher, 20, of School Lane, Surbiton, and two 16-year-olds pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit violent disorder. The 18-year-old admitted having a golf club while Thatcher and one of the two teenagers admitted having poles during hearings at Guildford Crown Court last month. Rivan Kader, 18, of Fengate Close, Chessington, pleaded guilty to intending to pervert the course of justice by passing a knife to another defendant.
Another 16-year-old denied conspiring to commit violent disorder, but pleaded guilty to having a stick in a public place. Sixteen others, including five 16-year-olds, four 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also pleaded not guilty to conspiring to commit violent disorder. These included Caine Hallett, 26, of Ebbisham Road, Epsom; Connor Dace, 18, of Porchester Road, Kingston; Simon Mann, 21, of Selwyn Road, New Malden; Marley Duke, 20, of Rowden Road, Epsom; Lewis Williams, 22, of Partridge Lane, Dorking and Lenny Young, 19, of Monument Road, Weybridge.
