The Surbiton Royal British Legion Youth Marching Band celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The band will celebrate by hosting a free open air concert in Kingston Market Place later this month. More than 200 musicians in six bands will be playing as part of the celebratory event.
The group has had its fair share of community performances over the years, but said performing at Disneyland last year was a highlight. Guest bands on the day will include Barisons Swing Band, Romford Drum and Trumpet, Kingston and Malden Scout and Guide Band and Barisons Chamber Choir.
The show begins at 5.30pm on Saturday, June 27.
