Hundreds flocked to soak up the sun at the Surbiton Village Fete as the town’s food festival hit its midway stage.
The fete, which was spread across both sunny Saturday and Sunday, saw foodies and music lovers alike gather in St Andrew's Square, Maple Road, to enjoy food demonstrations, competitions, live music and a dry hopped beer festival.
The fete took place in the middle weekend of the Surbiton Food Festival fortnight, which celebrates and showcases local businesses while bringing the community together in an array of quirky and fiercely unique events. Lucy Furlong, writer and Surbiton resident, wrote a blog to describe the end of the fete.
Events and demonstrations are running throughout the week. This weekend sees the grand finale of the festival with a community sports day, picnic and dog show.
