174 Hook Rise North
The new owners of the Cap in Hand plan to reboot it as a bar or restaurant if a leaseholder can come up with more than £100,000 a year in rent.
Touted as holding a "prominent position" between Tolworth and Hinchley Wood, those overseeing the letting advertisement are offering a 10 to 15-year lease.
Formerly part of the JD Wetherspoons chain, last year the Hook favourite was sold on to Mendoza Limited, a company based in the Isle of Man.
The new owners of the pub wasted no time clearing out the building. Furniture was removed and stacked in skips in the week following closure. Signs have been taken down and the windows are now covered in whitewash.
