A man arrested on suspicion of the murder after the death of David Edrupt has been released with no further action.
The death of 30-year-old Mr Edrupt was initially treated as a murder, but the Metropolitan Police have confirmed they now believe the death to have been non-suspicious. The man in his 30's was arrested at the beginning of June 2015 but released on bail. Police decided to take no further action against him.
Mr Edrupt, from West Molesey, was found dead in Surbiton in May last year. Friends posted on the Red Alert Facebook page following his death describing him as a funny, gentle and kind man. He was found on the landing outside a second-floor flat in Surbiton Court, St Andrew's Square, on Sunday, May 31.
