Neighbour honours photographer who died at fashion week party

A kind and neighbourly Surbiton family are said to be distraught following the death of their photographer son who fell out of a third floor window.

Peter Alexander, 28, fell to his death at a party celebrating London Fashion Week in Shoreditch, east London, last Thursday. Mr Alexander, a talented photographer who had exhibited in London, Iceland and the US, struck the pavement and was thought to have died almost immediately. A distraught female relative, who answered the door at the family home in Berrylands, said they did not wish to say anything further at this point.

The other man, a model who was said to have landed on a parked car, suffered pelvic injuries and is now in a serious but stable condition in hospital. Police believe there were no suspicious circumstances.
