It’s time to get out your giant guinea pig costume and walk the streets of Surbiton in celebration of little goat boy Lefi Ganderson.
The annual Seething Festival takes place this weekend and, appropriately enough, is being held during the Chinese year of the goat.
Lefi Ganderson's model will return to Surbiton and creatives can attend a free workshop the day before the festival to build their own papier-mâché costumes and figures. Head along to The Lamb, in Brighton Road, from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, February 28, to build or help decorate puppets, sculptures, costumes and more.
Celebrations will start in St Andrew's Square, in Maple Road, from 2pm on Sunday, March 1. Make sure to take part in the 3.30pm parade through Surbiton and do your bit to confuse unwitting bystanders.
