A YOUNGSTER from Ham is looking for local businesses to help her achieve her dreams of becoming a professional gymnast.
Nine year old Jasmine Wildey trains for more than 13 hours a week before and after school as a gymnast at the Heathrow Gymnastic Club.
Her dream is to become a professional and her teachers, including Spelbound star Adam McAssey, believe that she has the potential to achieve this.
However the cost of travel, leotards, tracksuits and competition entrance fees have put a heavy financial strain on her parents Sasha and Lee.
They are hoping to find a local business that would be interested in sponsoring their daughter so that she can strive to achieve her goal of maybe one day winning an Olympic medal.
Painter and decorator, Lee, 33, said: "She signed up to her first gymnastics club when she was six years old.
"Before that she was always jumping around and climbing on furniture. She joined Avondale Gymnastics club in Surbiton where she was taught by Olympic gymnast Annika Reeder, who told us that she showed some promise.
"She got a trial at Heathrow and was accepted. She trains six days a week and we spend all of our time at the club.
"We come from a working class background and we feel that it's unfair that children with talent, whose parents are doing their best to help them, might not succeed because of it.
"We want to see if there are any businesses or companies that want to help Jasmine and might want to sponsor her."
The Meadland Primary School pupil is part of a trio and performs the role of the top, so most of her routines see her performing moves like handstands and the splits whilst on someone's hands.
Her enthusiasm for the sport has only increased since gymnastic troupe Spelbound wowed the nation last year when they won Britain's Got Talent.
The troupe train and teach at the Feltham based club.
Lee, said: "She's really been inspired in the last 10 to 12 months by the fact that Spelbound won Britain's Got Talent. She feels that her dreams can be achieved.
"As parents we want to fully support her but we are asking if anyone could help us."
In her first competition, which was last year, Jasmine and her trio won the bronze medal.
She has two more competitions ahead of her in the upcoming months.
Anyone interested in helping Jasmine, should email Lee at thewildthings@hotmail.co.uk
