Normal rubbish collection this week

Despite the bank holiday recycling and refuse will be collected as normal.

For many years, collections have been made one or two days later than usual following a Bank Holiday. However, Kingston Council want to make things easier for residents in the future. So, from now on collections will remain unchanged during a Bank Holiday week (with Christmas and New Year being the only exceptions).

On this note, I just received a packet from Kingston Council telling me that if I want a GREEN BIN for recyled materials, I better sign up here:
