Residents urged to have their say on Surbiton Hospital site

Residents campaigning against the proposed plans to redevelop the Surbiton Hospital site are urging people to have their say ahead of the final decision.

Under the proposals the Ewell Road hospital will be demolished in favour of a healthcare centre which would provide a base for up to eight existing GP practices as well as outpatient care, community services and a pharmacy.

A new primary school is also being proposed for the site which would have capacity for 420 pupils and possible rooftop play areas.
