A council experiment means two weeks between household rubbish collections.
Berrylands residents: it's time to get yourself a bigger bin. From November Kingston council will trail alternating weekly waste collection; one week will be recycling, the other regular 'black bag' waste.
Residents will be issued with extra containers and in addition to the current paper, glass and plastic bottles they will be able to leave cardboard, kitchen and organic waste.
The plan is intended to save money making Kingston 'one of the highest performing authorities in the country' and if successful will be rolled across the whole borough in 2008.

Will they be supplying nose clips?
From what I've read, it sounds like the council will be supplying wheelie bins too.
