Schoolboy climbs tree and won't come down.

Two fire engines, an ambulance and a police car were called on Thursday afternoon after the boy, a year four pupil at Our Lady Immaculate primary school, stubbornly repeated that he was not coming down until his mum arrived.

A teacher followed the boy, who had run away from the school after being dropped off by his mother, and watched him climb up the tree. The mother left the boy asking the teacher to call the emergency services as she had a hospital appointment.
