Spam attack

Wall of Spam

We're currently suffering an automated attack that's posting spam comments on our site. These attacks are usually short lived, but in the meantime we've decided it's best we disable email notification until the attack is over.

Our spam detection software works well ensuring the messages aren't posted to the site, but it seems some users were still being sent emails notifying them of new comments.

Hopefully things will be back to normal in a few days. Meanwhile we'll continue monitor the spam and also look for an alternative email notifier that doesn't send alerts for unpublished messages.

Thank you for bearing with us, and apologies to anyone this may have affected.
