Thieves drive off with swag in sleeping couple's prized Merc.

The burglars entered the house through the back door and ransacked the ground floor, stealing mobile phones, camcorder and jewellery before spotting the car keys and heading off into the night in the owner's silver Mercedes C180.

The incident happened between 12:00am and 8:00pm on Saturday while the couple slept upstairs in their home in Endway, Berrylands. A similar break-in happened on the same night further along the street.

Police are asking for any information regarding this on 020 8247 4945. The stolen car's registration is KM54 PBX.
