The Good Life!!

Ahh Surbiton eh. A place of tranquility and wonder!!

I wonder which poor unfortunate loser the Tories will put up against Ed Davey at the next election. Don't know why anyone would bother really, there'll never be a Tory elected around here!!!!!!!

This is Liberal country and don't forget it!!!!!!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a load of losers!!!!!

Surbiton Winds of change!

Well the Lib Dems won didnt they, and Labour won the national election and will win the next one under Mr Brown!

It's a very satisfying era for people like me. For years, absolutely years and years, decades even, I had to suffer as did many others snobbish selfish and uncaring conservative politicians ruling the roost both here in Surbiton, and on our Council and also in Westminster without being able to do a thing about it at any level.

Well NOW, for the last NINE years and counting, it's been my turn and my friends turn to be part of the "establishment ruling class" and your turn to be considered the militant right wingers, the whingers and windbags, who want to destroy our centre left way of life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moaning Minnies!

Does anyone else get totally fed up by all the older aged pensioners (and some younger aged pensioners!) moaning and complaining about their "lot" all the time and also taking up space in queues during the lunch hour as if they've got no other time to shop in the day?

Look you guys have had your days running the world as it was in your "war torn days", now if you don't like the way we run the world during "our days" then maybe you are either jealous that we are more successful at it than you were, and you should just get with it if that's the case, or alternatively, just possibly, maybe, this world isn't for you anymore!

Nursing home windows must come out

Double-glazing installed four years ago considered 'harmful' to conservation area.

Bourne House nursing home in Langley Avenue faces a £150,000 bill to replace the uPVC windows.

Jag Grewa, managing director of London Residential Healthcare failed to get planning permission when he installed the new windows in 2002. He has until May to replace them with timber-framed alternatives as the building is in a conservation area with strict planning rules.

"I simply don't have the money to change 70 windows and where would the residents go? This is their home."
