Mugging victim calls for better lighting in Victoria Park

Nighttime assault results in labrador death.

The mugging that took place on March 1st at around nine in the evening left Jonathan Greensted, 36 with a second tradegy. The pet labrador dog he was walking escaped into the road and was run over.

He's now calling for extra lighting to be installed in park in order to deter opportunist muggers, and has set up an online petition web site. Mr Greensted says, "I would like people living in the area to sign the online petition for lighting and CCTV in the park."

Help with family history

I am tracing my family history and have found out that my great great grandfather was born in Surbiton. On the birth certificate it says he was born in Chelsea Cottages in 1884. His name was Robert Butt. Does anyone know if the cottages are still there or where they would have been? Many thanks.
