Motorists are a step closer to being forced to drive at 20mph on all of Surbiton’s residential streets – barring four main roads – after a consultation into the changes was extended by councillors.
The workshop takes place at the cornerHOUSE from Monday 4th April – Friday 8th April with a performance on the last day at 5.00 pm. This will be a fun week and a slight diversion from KJDC’s usual dramatic repertoire. A great opportunity for those who would like the chance to sing as well as act! The course will be open to anyone who is aged 8 – 15 and will cost only £100 for the whole five days. At the equivalent of £20 a day it will be a bargain. The event is being endorsed by Kingston Arts. Places will be limited.
Our regular double session screening for February is a pair of Chinese films. We also have a special screening of a US classic on 7 February which runs for around four hours and will be shown with original intermission, during which tea and cakes will be served.
Full details are being sent to film club members. All enquiries to cornerhousefilmclub@gmail.com
