The Cornerhouse: Art With A Difference

Art With A Difference, a joint exhibition by local artists Meta Rocard and Roger Fowler, takes place at the cornerHOUSE on Sunday, January 5 until Sunday, February 2.

All are welcome to come and view the paintings and images on show at a gala evening at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton, on Tuesday, January 14, from 7-9pm, and to hear the artists talk about their work.

Meta's exhibits, under the title Digital Fantasies, are a colourful collection of computerised images.

Crafty Afty is rapidly becoming the established place to make things.

Nothing too organised – just an opportunity to come and spend a few hours (away from the rigour of kids and domestic chores) in the company of like-minded creative grown-ups. If you’d like to brush up on your craft skills or learn a new technique, there’ll very likely be someone there who can help – all we ask is that you bring whatever materials you’ll be working with.
