Can someone open a restaurant in Surbiton that isn't a Curry or Chinese. I find it shocking that such an attractive and affluent area has a lack of good restaurants apart from Curry houses. Yes the French table is excellent but they must be laughing as they have no competition at all. Of course the lack of empty properties but there are still opportunities available

Launching Kingston and Surbiton's Olympic Oxjam festival, Twisted Candy play a fantastic set at The Black Lion.

Fronted by rock songstress Bex, Twisted Candy are a fantastically talented covers band. You'll hear everything from : " Standing In The Way of Control " to " You Oughta Know ". This is an event launching Oxfam's Oxjam music festival in Kingston. Expect fundraising throughout the night, to hear some of your favourite songs live and a crowd that is partying hearty in aid of Oxfam.
