Hi all,

Just moved to Surbiton from North London and just wanted to say "hi" and if anyone could point me in the right direction to a decent fruit and veg market and butchers?

Waitrose have been robbing me blind, but love the convenience!

Any nods, much appreciated!

Go down to Tolworth broadway - there are 3 large Asian shops. 2 are butchers, 1 sells fresh fish, and all do tones of fruit and veg at reasonable prices

Couldn't agree more with you in regards to Waitrose. The veg is terrible but the convenience unfortunately gets in the way.
Been living in Surbiton almost 5 years now and I can recommend the greengrocers on surbiton hill park called Stear CF & MC, the veg and fruit is great and they sell daily fresh bread and the eggs are good to. I use the butchers in Hinchley wood called stephens fine foods. The meat is real good, especially the smoked back bacon. There is another butchers on ewell road called JD Jennings. The meat is good but from my experience a bit pricier.
