Just had a very disappointing experience at Sarab. The restaurant always looks busy so we thought we'd give it a try but.........

1) It's very cramped
2) The food was awful
3) The staff were grumpy
4) Our food order was wrong
5) The main course arrived before we finished our starter despite asking the waitress to hold on to it for a few minutes
6) The bill was wrong (over charged)
7) And....worst of all.....the place is full of REALLY drunk estate rats!

We'd thoroughly recommend Sarab for anyone who isn't hungry and fancies pretending to be an extra on Eastenders!

I agree, went there last night and had wonderful time. Lovely food, lovely people and BYO. Highly recommended.

I love this restaurant. I am half Iranian myself and have eaten in tons of Persian restaurants, and this one is really up there with the greatest of them. Great food, friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. I love the vines growing around the terrace area in the front. I have taken many people there and we all love it and are very grateful that we have such a 'good quality,' Persian restaurant in our area to enjoy.

Shame on those who wrote those negative comments-how much were you paid to write them?
