Two men have banned from entering Surbiton for “constant anti-social behaviour” that has damaged businesses and been a nuisance to residents.

Homeless people living at Surbiton's YMCA centre have launched their own surprise bid to reach this year's Christmas Number One.

Officer were called to Portsmouth Road at about 2.36pm today to reports of a woman being hit.

A person has died after being hit by a train at Tolworth station, British Transport Police has confirmed. A spokesman for the BTP said they had been called to the station just after 2.10pm. He said: "Officers are on scene alongside paramedics however a person has sadly been pronounced dead.  "We are now working hard to identify the person and inform their family.
