The Surbiton Food Festival returns to showcase all that the town has to offer this weekend - including the suitably unique sardine festival.

A new primary school will open in Surbiton or Tolworth in 2018, subject to approval from the Department for Education.

Two people have been arrested after a stabbing in Tolworth this afternoon, just two days after a man was arrested following a separate knifing nearby. A Kingston police spokesman confirmed the two arrests just before 3.30pm.

The Government has allocated some £6.5m to Kingston to help ensure there will be enough school places for local children.
