Berrylands Station office closure

SWT slash ticket office hours by 20 hours a week.

Ticket office hours at South West Trains (SWT) stations in London and Surrey will be cut by 219 hours a week, new figures show. Berrylands station is one of the worst hit, with ticket office hours being reduced from 44 to 24 hours week.

In a letter to the MP, SWT managing director Stewart Palmer attributed the cuts to "reduced passenger growth and an increasingly challenging economic climate".
