Hair by Mitch is the only hairdresser that I have been back to time and time again.
When they first opened in Surbiton I had Vince as my hairdresser he was very nice (talked a lot ~ but very nice) since he has left I have had different hairdresser's do my hair and I have never come away thinking I had a bad hair-do. They cut or style my hair just the way I ask and if I am not sure have given me great idea's.
Once I home-dyed my hair and it came out completely wrong and they very kindly helped to tone it down a lot and not at a great expense, in fact I feel so good I always tip 15%, as they are so reasonably priced.
I am always offered a drink of coffee, tea or water and one time I had a late booking they offered me a glass of wine.
Unlike most hairdressers they are not thinking of how great they are, but they are thinking of how comfortable the client is and they always make you feel welcome.
Before 'Hair by Mitch' came to Surbiton I only went into a hairdresser once a year or less, as I never had a good cut, and I would let my hair grow and then have it cut short by the hairdresser give them a tip and go home crying, then spend ages putting clips in my hair or using alice bands to make it look ok.
Now I have my hair cut every few months or so, still not as much as I should but enough for me.
I hope they never change, it's taken me ages to find a good salon.

The salon has become really popular since we opened and we are fortunate to be busy most of the time. I am lucky to have built a great hard working and loyal team who know that our reputation is everything and we are only ever as good as the experience customers receive during their last visit.
With the sheer volume of people now visiting on a regular basis it is clearly a growing challenge to get it 100% right all of the time for everyone. I therefore actively encourage customer feedback (directly to me if possible) so I can address any areas where our service could be improved.
Hairdressing will never be an exact science and its easy to forget the best stylists are only human, every customer is different and each has unique requirements! I just hope you continue to enjoy and value the Mitch experience; we know you have a choice and reading unsolicited comments like this really does give us a huge lift!

Well, me and my boy friend have both tried mitch salon a couple of weeks back, they have taken my fringe too short, it takes a while to grow it again! My boyfriends cut is ok but a little over priced . Im sorry not my cup of tea.
Been with Mitch for years - and will continue for as long as I have hair left to cut!
I can't do much other than reinforce the comment already left, Michelle cut's hair like a goddess, gives exceptional value every time, and the service is always given to a level beyond personal and friendly and deliverred with more than just a smile. Shall be seeing you very soon Mitch!
I've been going to Mitch for years as she does a brilliant job and is excellent value. She has opened her new salon in the face of a recession and deserves all the support she gets! The comments on her website just about say it all!
