Who ever writes in defense of burger box ( most likely the owner) has their facts wrong and misrepresents and misinforms the panters.
The burger box with its present owners has only been there for 3 years and not 20 or 30 as he says.
It is dirty and they never cook the burgers enough, they are served uncooked and that is dangerous, unhealthy and unhygienic.
The salt as one of the commentators said is in abundance and too much to cope with for some people.
There is always new people working there and the boss comes only sometimes now. Involved in another one elsewhere.
The food is never the same with so many new staff changes.
It is in a good location and very convenient for the youngsters and others when they come out of clubs and from London trains and mostly the drunk and tipsy.
It is a successful business because of the location and not the food so much. Sometimes they do some good things, sometimes, but as they are in front of the station and very busy they don't have to do good food just cheep and fast and anything uncooked for speed of sales will do.
How many of you had the runs after eating there I wonder. This are not malicious comments, they're just correct observations.
I am right boss, aren't I?

coming from first hand i use to work there and the story you are telling is complete bulls
the food is always cooked and up to temp
and your obvi your to scared to show your real name or infact have you got some thing againts b box or do you eat there and you are just jelous that you cant run a thriving company

Dear Mr anonymous. My name is Paulo and i currently run the Burger Box. I would like to thank you for your comments good or bad.
I would like to point out regrettably that your source of information is somewhat flawed.
The owner of the site and the business has been there for over 30 years. Regarding the food, i am very proud of the fact that i serve high quality food to all my customers. We only use top quality product and ingredients. As a matter of fact, our biggest advantage is that all our food is cooked in front of our customers and they can see for themselves what we do.
Regarding the runs comment, i can only say that if we were as dirty and our food was unsafe as you say, don't you think we would have been closed by now.
I take my job very personally and i love what i do and some comments i read in Surbiton.com sometimes hurt me. But then all i have to do is read all the positive remarks and it makes me happy that most of my customers appreciate what i do.
I read through these comments and i follow up on all the bad ones. For example the salt one, i have asked my staff to be more careful when putting salt of the fries.
So i would like to thank for all the good and bad comments because they can only help me improve Burger Box.
Burger Box will be very soon going on-line due to popular demand. Soon all our customers will be able to place orders on-line and the food will be delivered within 60 minutes.
Again Mr Anonymous, thank you for taking the time to write these comments here on Surbiton.com and i hope that if you are genuine and have no other motives i can persuade you to see that Burger Box is different and unique.

I had a Mc Donalds in 1986 and it put me off burgers ever since,however having read your spirited response to criticism and the long history of your business,you must be doing something that many people like.
It warms the heart when a small business fights to keep going and does not resort to foul abuse of its critics,it takes a big man,and no doubt Mrs Paulo,to keep it all together.

mr cook was sick with (flu/cold) but still served customer with dirty hands and nose.
Brand new trailer and the food just keeps getting better. Had a portion of cheese chips and my god, it was the best I have ever had. Well done burger box. Keep up with the great job.

Went there once, never again... a bucket of salt over the fries made them uneatable.
Mr Anonymous must have a massive problem with Burger Box. He actually takes time to go to all the threads relating to Burger Box in Surbiton.Com and pot bad comments.
Burger Box has been there for over 30 years, has over 1200 members on Facebook and the Food is brilliant. Burger Box is part of the Surbiton Heritage. I believe there should be one in eah town.

You must be kidding me anonymous poster! The Burger Box is legendary. Whether drunk or sober it's fantastic for burgers. A case of "Does exactly what it says on the tin" or perhaps van :P

The food is lovely. This burger van is different its clean and the chicken is very tasty. The man that runs it is very friendly!

This Mr Anonymous that keeps slating the Burger Box has obviously never been to the Burger Box. I wonder why he has such a big problem with the burger box. Probably he is the same guy slating the Burger box on other surbiton threads. If you read all comments including the negative ones by Mr anonymous, you will see that actually loads of people are quite happy. Also, the facebook group the other user mentions has over 1000 members. looks like the burger box is doing something right.
I LOVE THE BURGER BOX. PAULO (the man that runs the van)IS SOOOOOO CUTE oh yeah and he cooks great burgers ;). It's a shame people that [filtered word] the burger box or so lonely they have nothing to do but look at IPs address, what if its the same ip add his trying to promote his business and at least his working not like people sitting at home trying to [filtered word] other peoples way of life. GET A LIFE MAN!!!!
