Tomorrow is the first anniversary of the muslim terrorist atrocities in London. There will be memorial services in churches across Surbiton.
I hope my fellow English men and women will join me in paying their respects to those innocent victims.

Since taking over the pub previously known as The Rat & Parrot in July 2005, publican Wayne Carruthers has attracted customers with a variety of welcoming improvements and events.
On receiving the Spirit award Mr. Carruthers said, "I don't really have a secret. Successful pub management is all about people skills and going the extra mile to make customers feel welcome and relaxed."

Are there any quirky places that can be used as venues? Mark Foley (46), of Chessington was given a life sentence at the Old Bailey after being found guilty of a violent robbery of the Victoria Road Unwins in April 2005. His wife, Eastenders actor Gerry Cowper has since filed for divorce. Ms. Cowper who plays Rosie, wife of slob husband Keith Miller (played by Surbiton actor David Spinx) has recently been written out of the TV soap and will make her last appearance sometime this summer.

A Geneva Road resident has apparently witnessed what seems to be a drive-by attack after noticing odd behaviour from a middle-aged man spraying liquid while leaning out of his large, grey or green car. This sighting coincided with ten acid attacks on cars in Geneva Road, Lingfield Road and Alfred Road.
Police are offering a £10,000 reward and are asking for anyone with any information to call 0208 5411212 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.

London's latest night bus comes to Surbiton

Transport for London's 100th night bus went into service this weekend as the 281 took its first through-the-night tour.
Route 281 is operated by London United and serves Hounslow, Whitton, Twickenham, Fulwell, Teddington, Hampton Wick, Kingston, Surbiton and Tolworth.

Mayor announces 281 as 100th night bus service in London

London's 100th night bus route will start on Saturday, 3 June. From that date, route 281 will operate a 24-hour service between Hounslow and Tolworth.
