Come along to Giggs Hill Green, Thames Ditton, KT7 0BT (see google maps) on Sunday 13th May for a traditional fun filled family afternoon with a real community feel.

Side shows include: skittles, pop guns and boot the ball.

Enjoy the arena events: including Tai Kwon Do and knobbly knees competition. Browse the craft and charity stalls and enjoy a piece of cake and a cup of tea at the Tea Tent. Come and help the Dittons Scout Group celebrate the Scouting Movement's Centenary Year!

Surbiton recovers from dearth of vicars

After a year and a half without a priest, this week the parish of St. Mark and St. Andrew welcomes the Reverend David Houghton.

Church-goer Mike Gidley said, "It has been hard to find a new priest, firstly because it is a complicated process, but also because there is a shortage of vicars at the moment - not a lot of people want to go into the calling anymore."

Hi all

Im relatively new to the area, I am looking to join some kind of table tennis club or badminton, i would even like to join a tennis club however they seem to be a bit dear. Can anyone help out here, since ive lived here ive put on about 2 stone !

Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee

The next meeting of Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee is on Thursday 22nd March at 7.30 p.m. at Dysart School, 190 Ewell Road Surbiton.

Residents can raise questions not covered in the agenda at Question Time, which lasts for up to 30 minutes, and with which the meeting begins.

South West Trains weekend engineering

Trains from London Waterloo will be unable to call at New Malden or Berrylands. Long-distance train services will run as normal through this area on the lines which remain open.

Berrylands recycling trial: 1st fortnight

While figures need analysis, up to 75% of households in the trial area are taking part in the weekly recycling and fortnightly rubbish collections - 50% of eligible residents take part in the green box scheme.
