Warning about the Car Wash Card at Total in Surbiton

I've used my Car Wash Card at the Total petrol station on Brighton Road in Surbiton for several months. But today I put it in the machine and it said 'Error, remove card'. When I put the card back in, it said my balance was £0.00!! I think I had around £24.00 on there.

Hi there,

I am currently following the weight watchers diet and have lost 10.5 lbs in 5 weeks.. I am looking for any other women or indeed men out there in Surrey.. particularly Surbiton/ kingston etc who are also dieting.. (doesn't matter what diet you are following) .. and who might want to chat about weight loss/ points/ excercise / recipe's or generally just chat and advise each other and share weight loss goals.
Please contact me on here, or e-mail me at chocolatefinch@live.co.uk

Carluccio no longer welcome buggies

Since Carluccio's (Kingston) recent refit, they seem to positively discourage customers with a buggie. The first time we were refused was on a Sunday morning after a long and bitter cold walk along the river with 3 small children. Demanding that we fold the buggie with a 2 month old sleeping baby, is a bit much to ask for.

Missing Pub

Does anyone remember the name of the pub on the Ewell road that used to be just before the New Prince if you were heading towards Tolworth and sat back from the rest of the shops and houses.

Power Cut (again!)

Yet again there was another power cut today affecting a large number of houses in the berrylands, starting at 08:15 and ending around 19:35. Thats more than 11 hours without power, beating their last record (a few months ago) of 10 hours without power.

I spotted an "EDF Energy" van parked outside a house in the evening which I assumed was fixing the power outage, not sure if he was there all day or just turned up 11 hours later, either way its a very poor service response time.

PLEASE HELP - our cat has gone missing in Surbiton/Tolworth

Hi,

I was hoping someone on here might be able to help.

Our black and white male cat has been missing from the Verona Drive area of Surbiton/Tolworth since Thursday 11th February. He's really friendly, but it's very out of character for his to just disappear like this.

Has anyone reading this seen him. When we last saw him, he was wearing his black 'Staywell' collar with a magnetic mouse on it. He has a predominantly black face (white white bits around the mouth/nose), white legs/paws and white belly.

exercise classes

Does anyone know of exercise classes that aren't gym based in central Surbiton?
I'm just after old-fashioned aerobics, step or body conditioning class in a village hall setting. Something not overly choreographed that I can get to in the evenings after work or at weekends. Thanks

To live or not to live in Surbiton Hill Park? That is the question! :)

Hi,

We are thinking of buying a property in Surbiton Hill Park (very close to the roundabout with the Chiltern Drive and to the Berrylands station).

I would really appreciate if somebody could please help with answering the following questions:

1. So how smelly is it there? Is it really as bad as people write in the internet? We’ve been to the area quite a few times and it seemed lovely…
2. I know there is a bus going through Surbiton Hill Park, we’ve only been there on weekends when it is dead quiet. How noisy is the street during the week?

History of Surbiton Hospital

Does anyone know when Elmside, Oak Hill Road became the Elmside wing of Surbiton Hospital as opposed to a private residence?
