I've just moved to Surbiton, orginally from Australia, and am wondering what sort of social clubs/societies are out there in the area. I know there are a lot of church groups in the area, but I'm not really a church person, so I was wondering what else there is about. It'd be great to meet some people for a chat at the pub and so on, as I'm feeling a little bit isolated at the moment!

We have been living in Surbiton for a couple of year and love taking the kids to Bushy Park. Recently they have announced that parking charges will be introduced. Please sign this to try and stop this, we shouldnt have to pay to enjoy these spaces.

Anyone know of a good, sympathetic dentist for a nervous patient?

I haven't been for a decade and the teeth are in a terrible state. I'm terrified of the response I'm going to get when I open my mouth.
Anyone been to a dentist who has been markedly kind and sympathetic.

Just had a very disappointing experience at Sarab. The restaurant always looks busy so we thought we'd give it a try but.........

1) It's very cramped
2) The food was awful
3) The staff were grumpy
4) Our food order was wrong
5) The main course arrived before we finished our starter despite asking the waitress to hold on to it for a few minutes
6) The bill was wrong (over charged)
7) And....worst of all.....the place is full of REALLY drunk estate rats!

We'd thoroughly recommend Sarab for anyone who isn't hungry and fancies pretending to be an extra on Eastenders!
