Since Langley Medical Practice moved to the new Surbiton Health Centre, it is impossible to get through on the phone. Usual excuses, robot voice, lines all busy, please call back later. Has anyone else had this problem? I thought when they moved, customer service would improve, not get worse.

I wonder if anyone can advise. I know that the Berrylands smell is often the topic of conversation but I wondered if anyone knows whether it regularly affects The Crest? We are some way towards buying a house on The Crest and when we went to visit recently we were alarmed to get hit by the smell quite badly in the back garden. I would like to find out how bad the smell is and how often it occurs? As it is winter at the moment and we could smell it, would it be safe to assume that it could be much much worse in the warm summer months?

Does anyone in the Surbiton/Claygate area rear chickens? I would like to buy some nice Free Range Eggs !

I must be wearing one or it could just be that I am an OAP,but I have noticed more and more frequently how often the following events seem to be happening to me.

1/ Almost run off the pavements by huge baby buggies being propelled by amazons texting or talking on mobiles.
2/ Endless joggers and bikes,and recently an inline skater determined to use me as a slalom gate,again on the pavement.

Apparently Morrisons are buying a large amount of Blockbuster stores. Does anyone know if they are buying the one in Surbiton?

Anyone heard what will fill the retail units at Red Sq development? I would not have though people will want to commit to buying a flat when not knowing what they will be.

Hi everyone, I want to raise public interest in a community fight to keep Surbiton's Blockbuster store open. This business may well be viewed as a failure by the administrators Deloitte UK but this video store is one of the busy hubs of community life in Surbiton and would be sorely missed by many if it were to disappear. Many of the businesses around would surely suffer from the closure too as many an evening is centred around getting a film to watch and dinner to eat in one place.
