Described as “engagingly clear across a rich variety of styles” (Songlines), Good Habits are a UK alt-folk duo, telling stories and turning heads across the globe. Composed of singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz and accordionist Pete Shaw, the duo create folk-ish musical tales, with captivating lyrics married with their unique brand of brisk instrumental virtuosity.

More than 200 performances and events have been confirmed for the 2018 International Youth Arts Festival in Kingston.

Pint Sized Popstars is a guitar and singing group lead by Liam Cottrell, a professional musician with over 15 years experience of working with children. Its a parent/carer and child group music session, for ages 0-5. You'll hear well known nursery rhymes, classic gems, current hits and a handful of brand new original songs written specially for the occasion.

The hunt is on for a brazen thief who stole a beloved metre-high sardine tin costume from a Surbiton pub in an audacious raid.

On the day there are a range of workshops and interactive events to run alongside the working artists (artists welcome to join in). Workshops for adults and children include; graffiti; life drawing; fine art; illustration; graphics , designing the Kingston Pound and much more.

It’s time to get out your giant guinea pig costume and walk the streets of Surbiton in celebration of little goat boy Lefi Ganderson.

Come along to this FREE Seething Community get together to hear the story at the start of Seething.

Lefi Ganderson, born half child half goat, is rejected by the grown ups of Seething but the children love him. Though their love and Lefi’s kindness the adults realise that they can make a difference. A heart warming tale of the triumph of good over evil.

Surbiton favourite The Lamb pub has been jointly named pub of the year.

Anyone young and old - or deceased - who would like to come along should dress appropriately for the walk of the dead and meet at the Lamb pub in Brighton Road, Surbiton at 5pm.

Landlubbers will be taking over Surbiton as the Lamb pub’s annual giant games take on a nautical theme.

A life-sized set of pop-up pirates, which has taken the pub’s team five weeks to build, will be the focal point at the community event in aid of two charities.

Independent traders left big brands in the dust as the Surbiton community gathered to celebrate the best of local produce.

A man in a sardine tin, a giant on a Segway, and four huge guinea pigs all braved freezing conditions for this year’s Seething Festival in Surbiton.

We want to make sure that The Seething Festival 2013 is bigger and better so make sure that you join in.

The day will start around 2.30 at St Andrew’s Square, Maple Road where there will be a chance to make mask and head dresses for the Grand Procession around Seething at 3.30pm. After the procession there will be more entertainment until we end at 6pm.

The third British Bread Golf Open saw record numbers turn out to hit dough balls into the River Thames in aid of an arts charity.

Back in the early 70's when I drove my trusty Triumph Herald done the A3 to Weybridge to go to Brooklands Technical College i would pass the Ace of Spades rounderbout and see a club called Bentleys on the north eastern side. I think Bentleys is now the Bath Shop and is next to the golf centre. I vaguely remember going there once when all you wanted was a late drink and the chance of a dance with perhaps a wicker basket of Scampi and Chips thrown in to round the evening off Anyone rember Bentleys?? I also used to go to the Sunday night disco at the Southborough Arms Pub in the early 80's.
